This page explains how MasterApps di Carlo Terracciano handles data received from TikTok and Instagram when we publish our own videos and reply to comments from our official accounts (for example @masterschoolapps). It supplements our app Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Who we are

Data controller: MasterApps di Carlo Terracciano. Contact: carlo.terracciano@masterapps.it.

What we use

Data from TikTok

DataWhy
Connected TikTok account identifier, display name and avatar (user.info.basic)To show which account we are about to publish from.
Access and refresh tokens (video.publish)To publish the videos we have chosen to our own account.
Publishing status of the videoTo know whether the upload succeeded.

We do not read direct messages, followers, watch history or any other personal data, and nothing is published without confirmation from the account owner.

Data from Instagram

We process the comment text, the commenter's username and Instagram-scoped ID, the delivery result of our message (sent, skipped, error) and link clicks. Where a campaign asks people to follow the account first, we check through Instagram whether they follow it.

We follow Meta's rules: one private reply per comment, within the allowed time window.
